Estoy emocionado de ser el representante de APICAL en la Mesa Redonda Global de Agricultura de Insectos (GRIA). Esta es una gran oportunidad para contribuir a la planificación estratégica de la industria de la agricultura de insectos junto a otros representantes de importantes asociaciones, organizaciones y empresas de insectos comestibles de todo el mundo.

La GRIA es un foro internacional que reúne a las partes interesadas clave en la industria de la agricultura de insectos para colaborar a nivel mundial en cuestiones relacionadas con los insectos como alimento, pienso y otras aplicaciones. Este foro persigue múltiples objetivos, estrategias y resultados medibles.

I am thrilled to serve as the representative of APICAL in the Global Roundtable for Insect Agriculture (GRIA). This presents a valuable opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning of the insect agriculture industry alongside other representatives from prominent edible insect associations, organizations, and companies around the world.

The GRIA is an international forum that convenes key stakeholders in the insect agriculture industry to collaborate globally on matters related to insects as food, feed, and other applications. This forum pursues multiple objectives, strategies, and measurable outcomes.

Through working together with other leaders in the insect agriculture industry, we can establish the necessary infrastructure, technology, and market demand to make insect farming a sustainable and viable industry. This not only provides a new source of food and feed for a growing population, but also helps mitigate the environmental impacts of traditional livestock farming.

We are happy to be part of this significant initiative and eagerly anticipate collaborating with other GRIA members to advance the sustainable use of insects for the benefit of our planet and its people.
